This capabilities brochure was designed and produced in the year 2000 for a prominent wireless access provider with corporate offices in Finland and a U.S. location in San Jose, California. To demonstrate the fast-changing nature of high-tech companies, Capslock has evolved over the years from Capslock > Stellcom > Vytek > California Amplifier > CalAmp Corp in late 2004.

design challenges: Though this brochure is no longer a current communication tool, it remains one of the more contemporary designs in my portfolio. The logo and images that were provided as initial assets suggested a less illustrative, more abstract, approach to brochure design.
A strong grid structure anchors these elements — allowing the interaction of type, color fields, images, and diagrams — keeping image and content zones separate. This horizontal flow leads the reader through the messaging.
